can someone please tell me what is done during a 3 hr glucose test? i have to go back for one and quite frankly, im scared... i dont wanna have to give myself shots every single day all day long :'( the girl said that the test came back abnormal and they just wanna be sure before they move anything along :(

with mine I was there about 4 hours and when I got there they drew blood, then I had to drink the juice in 5 mins and then every hour on the hour I had to get more blood drawn. unless your numbers are crazy high you won't need medicine I was able to control mine with diet. good luck !

@gabbator95, no they will call you within a couple days. Atleast that's what they did for me. be prepared to be very tired though. after I drank the juice I napped and watched netflix it made the time go faster. lol

I got mine the same day I have GD But it's a carb control diet because my number wasn't really high and I've been keeping my sugar very well-maintained so if you keep it like that then you don't need insulin and your possibility of having it after baby decreases
