Excuse me ladies for the negative post I'm about to make, but I just wanted to get this off of my chest somewhere. My husband works for the oil industry, usually he brings in around 100 grand a year. we just bought a house in June of 2015, we knew that with our budget our monthly mortgage payments were going to take up most of our extra money (not all but most). We needed a bigger home for the new addition we were planning, and I got the great news in September that we were expecting again so the sacrifice was totally worth it. well now the oil market is down, way down. we will be making around 60,000 this year if lucky. our finances are set up for a much bigger income so we are taking the necessary steps to budget wisely and make ends meet. perfect timing for the market to be down, let me tell you. Our baby girl is expected to be here in May and we have 5 other children to care for along with a hefty mortgage and car payment. we have had to consolidate our debts and I have applied for Medicaid and Food Stamps. I still haven't heard back from them and there is no update on my case online, I applied 3 weeks ago. I'm having to reschedule and reschedule my doctors appointments (I see two doctors because I have hep c) because I cannot afford the copays on my insurance. on top of that, it looks like no one is throwing me a baby shower because there are lots of other pregnancies in our family right now and I cannot afford to throw myself one. I'm just trying to stay positive but it's really hard. I've got nothing for my baby and I am having all of this extra financial stress. Thanks preggie for being there for me to #Vent to someone! I really needed it.
