Bacterial vaginitis? it sounds funny, but you can use garlic. sew a string in it so it's like a tampon and stick it up there. it has amazing health qualities and sooooo much better than antibiotics. antibiotics will kill all the good and bad bacteria and can cause other infections. so, I'd get a clove of garlic and use it. I think you have to use it a few times a day or week. you can Google to see how often and how long you need to use it.
I would highly recommend consulting your obgyn. If it is gardenella, there is a shot antibiotic they can administer. If they already have an antibiotic regimen and you have any concerns, you should definitely consult with your Dr.
@ajennings, yeah I am taking medication for it now. The medication is called Metronidazole. I didnt know I had it until I went to labor and delivery with contractions that dialated me to 4cm at 34 weeks.

Yeah I just finished my treatment. At first they gave me pills but those are nasty so I asked for a cream.

your dr will prescribe metronidazole. you can take it vaginally or orally
