I have my glucose test at 1 today. Can I eat anything before then? Like fruit or yogurt to tide me…

i would call where ever ur doing it and ask I don't see why uh can't since they made it so late in the day I know I ate with my first glucose test I had to fast for the second one tho because I failed the first one

I was never told to fast before the one hour test. Now the 3 hour is a different story

I was told to eat before I went but idk how long before the test is okay. you should call your doc

I've always been told to fast before. like 8 hours before because what you eat before hand can mess with your test! I'm surprised they didn't tell you this.

i ate before mine, my doctor just told me no sugary foods and dont eat after you drink the drink they give you

you can eat whatever. once you get there they'll tell you not to eat or drink anything. I literally just got back from mine.

My doctor said nothin with sugar they said eggs or bacon is fine & water you can have protein just no sugar like fruit , bread , smoothies , juice

Yup, I asked my doctor at my last visit and he said to eat what you normally would. I don't remember having to fast with my other pregnancies.

I would say it doesn't matter because my DR sent me for mine after my appointment and that was at 230 in the afternoon!
