It was more annoying for me than anything. We just have what's meant to be a dog food container was like $7 bucks at Walmart and the lid clicks down we keep it outside the front door but no smell from it. Locks tight.
The family I work for has one and let me tell you, it definitely works! I've changed diapers that make me gag and when I put it in the genie, I don't smell it anymore 👍🏻
I also heard that they are a waste of money my sister in law had one and I think she used it like 1 month then it was a permanent staple on our front porch
my friend got one at her baby shower last july. Her daughter is now 5 months old and they still use their diaper genie. every time I go to their house I never smell diapers because of that thing. it seems worth it

I heard they are a waste of money I never got one I bought odor blocking trash bags for my garbage can so I didn't smell the dirty diapers
