I just had a repeat csection 12 days ago. And it was the best experience ever. Yes, recovery isn't as easy. But it's worth it. I had a horrible experience the first time. But this time the anesthesiologist, doctor and nurses were so attentive. I was terrified of the spinal tap (my first C-section was an emergency and I was put to sleep because there was too much fluid in my back) This time around the anesthesiologist walked me through it and made sure if I was nauseous, cold or anything that I was taken care of. Make sure you communicate with your team. If you feel ANYTHING let them know. If you're nauseous, let them know. I was up and walking as soon as the spinal tap wore off.
