@princevince, for the squash, I dice it up, and put it in a baking dish with water on the bottom. Not much! Just enough to keep it from sticking. I cover it with foil, and I bake at 375 degrees for 30-40min. I take it then and put it In our food processor, and blend until I get the texture I'm looking for. I usually more water at this point. You can always use breast milk or formula while blending instead of water, however, it won't last as long in the fridge.
@princevince, I had a baby bullet and I hated it. But I actually just ordered a baby brezza - you don't have to cook or anything! It steams it for you. -- I can't waitttt for that to get here. I ordered it like a week ago.
@babymaciesmomma, I am vegetarian as well, so besides the fact that it's much healthier than having meat in your diet, it's really easy to be able to blend up her food because it's exactly what I eating as well. two birds one stone 😊
@babymaciesmomma, meat has so little protein compared to tofu, beans, and nuts though. Plus, we are against animal cruelty, so, I'm only okay with animal consumption if they are hunted in the wild. I don't believe in factory farming, and there's no such thing as "free range" or "cage free". I just can't personally live with that on my conscience, so I'm not gonna put that on my daughters either. However, if she decides when she's old enough that she wants to eat meat, and that I can't stop her. All I can do is educate her and hope she makes good decisions.

Haha I am too but I always wanted my girls to get protein after getting very little while I was pregnant so I gave them meat. But that's neat! :)
