so.. let's talk vaccines.. our daughter has her vax except the mmr (she's been sick everytime we go to the Dr so they wouldn't admin it).. I am switching pediatricians bc our old one got bought out and the Dr apparently only sees patients if it's medically necessary (wtf?).. so I'm thinking of going to a new clinic called rainbow clinic.. we go by the Dr sears schedule for vax except we as parents agree on waiting til 3 for the Mmr bc that's when the blood brain barrier closes.. my question for advice would be have any of yalls Dr been ok with delaying vax?
not trying to start drama and I know I'm super hollistic but I've done so much research on each vax and when I got sick in school bc of a few vax my mother didn't get me I swore I wouldn't put my child through it.
**is respect any choices yall make of course, I just am in a bind that's all and don't wanna be turned away from this clinic :[ clarksville offers no good medical for its citizens**

I say it is up to the parents if/when the child is vaccinated... talk to the new doctor before you decide to become a patient, if they don't stand behind your decision go with a different one who will

that's what I was thinking. their policy says they won't accept patients who refuse vax completely which I can understand but we are very Stuck on delaying that one specific vax and not getting the flu vax which thankfully isn't on any vax schedule @sarahdrew

I would think if you are willing to get it, just at a later time they would be ok with it, you aren't saying it's never going to happen you are just saying when it will... also bring up any research you have done

I literally cannot offer any advice because of my stance on the matter, but I do hope you find a doctor for your kids. It's terrible to be in between especially during sick season!

we don't do the flu shot at all and I'd rather the kids not get the chicken pox vax.. HOWEVER if I can convince my fiance to let me homeschool then I won't have to worry about a vax schedule at all lol @liveitwithlove

Right. A lot of counties now are no exceptions allowed. As a mom of an immune deficient child, I'm grateful for it. But it's a pain for parents who need other options. Maybe by the time school rolls around, he'll be okay with it!

I truly hope so bc I don't really like the education system.. :( @liveitwithlove love to your baby who has an immune deficiency, that's so rough for them and you. *hugs*
