How the hell can Dr's turn yu down cus you're 39 weeks!!!
try little clinics like Metropolitan, i mean if u have no other way, they give u insurance for like 4 months right than and there and thy even deliver babie, i was getting my insurance from there before kaiser requested back, but that's just an option if u have no other choice 😕 hopefully its not too late try calling asap
@breannapacheco2016, I've tlk to the insurance company, they said they cnt do anything cus they're not a Dr office. so they need me to get an authorization frm my PCP, which I dnt hve yet cus I'm new to the insurance group, they dnt hve availability until Feb 23rd, thts Jst for them to send authorization for me to see an OB. it's circles they hve me going in.
I would keep looking and call your heath insurance and just let them know what's going on and see if they can help you because with you being so far now I know I would like to know what's going on just to ease my mind. since our due dates are only a few days away. @rayymarie
@breannapacheco2016, i had no choice but to change my Dr bcus the Dr I've been seeing, no longer accepted my insurance, with no notice to me, I was thinking I had a dr, went into my appt, and they tld me then and there, I couldn't be seen. soo now tht I'm tryna find a dr, cnt find one to accept me, so I hve noo idea whatsoever if I'm dilating, efacing, or anything about my pregnancy at this point. it's so stressful. really dnt even kno if I shuld keep looking or just wait to go into labor on my own.
same thing happened to me, I wanted to which doctor's because my doctor I am going to now is assigned to a hospital my boyfriend little brother passed away at. and he feels strong that he doesn't want his son born there and I respect his wishes. so I was calling to which and they said because I'm so far 39 weeks also. they don't know if they can find me a doctor who will except me.
they shouldn't be able to, but normally it's because your so far along and close to birth
You can try and find a midwife for a home birth?
