I'm currently almost 20 weeks pregnant. and the whole nesting stage has begun, seeing as I am a first time mom, most of it is common sense but with my anxiety I just want to have everything right and safe .
should I get a pack and play with a bassinet for the first couple weeks ( since I'll need the pack and play when she gets a little bigger and goes to her Noni's ) and also to save money
I was told that the hospital provides binkis formula diapers etc, but as a mom a new one at that I do not want to show up empty handed and seem unfit for taking care of my baby
since my job doesn't pay me during my maternity leave I want to stock up on diapers, which sizes should I get the most of ( my bds first kid came out huge and the skipped right to a one and that's what he's suggesting with ours)
I'm seeing a few moms putting bumpers only on the back and the two ends, is that any safer?

We did get a bassinet and he currently sleeps in his pack n play now. He has never slept in a crib. Yes hospital provides all that but always have ur own stuff. Grab every size even premie size. My baby was born small and my doc failed to tell me so we had to run to the store and get all premie stuff. So i would get all size diapers.

The bumpers on the back and two ends for a newborn is fine . They don't mess the front bumper until they start rolling and moving . And you won't seem unfit if you don't bring things to the hospital for the baby . You truly only need an outfit for the baby to go home in and your car seat when it's time to leave . They provide the baby with the necessities while your staying . If your so has a history of big babies then buy the size ones and put a little money away for if you do end up needing the newborn pampers you can have him run out and get a box . I too wanna be set when babies come so I so far have stocked up on dreft for clothes washing , shampoo , soap, lotion all the important stuff that I don't wanna have to buy for awhile . But there's always a risk with that because you would hate for baby to come and be sensitive so be sure to buy mild baby products and or sensitive scented wipes and things as to not waste money . @wonder.woman07216

reading this post I might need to get preemie clothes to because r the door told me my baby is small as well and I have all newborn clothes
