It's hormones girl. I'm the same way with my fiance and he's home every night but I still hate that he works so late and isn't home till 12. He's switching jobs in march and I'm thankful because I'm due in 18 days. @arijane316

I would be upset about it too... my ex talked about being a truck driver and just the thought scared me

@bentley_mommy, he's only home once a month tho, sometimes every 2 months. I haven't seen him in 5 weeks and he won't be home until march 8th 😳 @mommy2be15 it really sucks. I used to ride with him until we found out about the pregnancy.

My fiance is sometimes gone for 2 weeks but that's if the Job is out of state. His boss has been turning them down so he is here when I have our daughter which means a lot to me cause most bosses would say tough shit. @arijane316 it's rough I know :/

It's hormones 😞 bc I go through the same my SO works oilfield so he's never home he's always out of town working which was fine before I got pregnant bc I was traveling with him but now with a Baby on the way it's different. But I keep pushing on bc one he won't/can't be making the money he does now here at home, and two he loves it and excels at it to the point where in the 3 and half years he's been doing it he's further than guys that have been doing it for 5 or 6 years. Then there's always his crew he works with he learns so much from them so it's made it easier for him to advance bc of the teachers he has. But his boss is cool they already have an agreement that as soon as he gets the call I'm in labor he's driving home, he even has a bag packed and ready in his truck 😂 I'm just glad this job he will be able to make it only being 4 hrs away

@shelbyjo, well at least he's close enough to drive home to you right away. mine could very well be clear across the country when I go into labor and would have to wait until he can drive back to even see us. like I said he's a truck driver and they won't just fly him back. so he wouldn't get to meet his daughter for a few days. a cross country drive in a semi takes 5 days. @steph411 mines gone to like 2 or 3. and that's it. I've had soo many appointments that I wish he could have gone to. and he's only been to one prenatal class and it was about breastfeeding and how to put the baby to sleep safely

I understand what your going through my so is actually about to start truck driving in a few days and I'm due in a few months I'm not sure if he will be here for the baby shower or even the birth of our little girl he tells me everytime that Webcam video chat and stuff if he is not here but he does not understand it's not the same I cry every night thinking about @arijane316

my husband's a truck driver to. thanks goodness he made it home for the birth of our daughter. but his boss is really good knowing he has a baby at home now so they get him home every weekend. maybe it will change once your little one is here to

@phephe434, it's hard not knowing when I'll see him next because they can't always get home. @melissafrattinger, he's with a company now where he can come home as often as he wants but that still doesn't mean that he'll be here for her birth. with the way this pregnancy has gone the last month and a half, she could be here any da and he's currently 2000 miles away. that's a 4 day drive depending on weather. and we don't know where he'll be sent next because he's just starting with this company. they know he needs to be home by March 8th so he can be home for 2 weeks, but that's assuming she stays in until my due date.

sorry to hear that. I hope he can be there for the birth of ur child. I know how nerve wracking that can be.
