back ache..

since Friday really bad back aches. I have been asleep in the afternoon just to not be in pain. tried paracetamol and hot water bottle and it didn't do a thing.. it is from my left leg (I have short hamstrings so had problems before) anybody any suggestions? started my mat leave today and was so excited to deep clean the house, instead just about managed to put a wash on..
