Okay, my husband and I are both Christian, just two very different denominations. His parents didn't like that he was marrying outside of his church. Now that we have a baby on the way I'm scared that they are going to be very forceful about what religion the baby is. Blake and I had agreed to have the child blessed and let the child decide when they were ready.

As it stands, our little one will be blessed by two different denominations and have one God parent, my best friend. Is this strange, awkward, or just too much? I don't want my husband to have to give up what he wants but I also don't agree with some of what his church believes.

I'm just kinda lost. Any advice? I know that is a dangerous question.
