TMI Post, sorryyyy but I don't know what to do.. Nervous that I may have lost part of my mucus plug?! Has anyone had that happened?! My OBGYN is ridiculous & I hate calling especially because they never think anything is actually wrong or the things I'm concerned about are concerning.. Makes me feel stupid! I was gonna try to switch OBGYN's this week specifically for this reason.. It's just really early to lose that I feel like & I'm not to sure if I even did! First time mom here. Concerned! No contractions that I know of.. Is this a logical thing to call about?!

I've heard you can loose it out thru ur pregnancy and it can grow back..

I lost pieces of my mucus plug threw out my whole pregnancy doesn't necessarily mean your gonna go into labor right away: )

You can lose your mucus plug anytime during pregnancy. It can actually regenerate itself. Even if you do lose it it can take weeks even months for baby to come.

I lost mine at 30 weeks. I am 37 weeks and 2 days and my daughter is upside down in position and I'm almost 100% thinned out but not dilated. Don't worry girl :) you'll be fine. I've lost my plug twice actually. I know the feeling on calling the OBGYN and them being rude. Mine is the same way so I just stopped calling and just wait to speak to my doctor or my midwife janice. I refuse to speak to anyone else because all they say is "it's the baby your fine".. Obviously it's the baby but they never explain in detail why I'm hurting, etc. Until I see my doctor or midwife and that's when they told me to go on bed rest, no sexual activities, nada.
