so this may be a stupid question but what do BH contractions feel like? I just had this very dull tightening in my belly…

Yeah what you just described is textbook BH . Mine hurt like period cramps, but everyone is different

I'm one of the lucky ones that's never felt a period cramp in her life. I have very easy wonderful periods so the cramping stuff is new to me. plus this is my first child so I definitely don't know what contractions feel like. everyone says it's when your tummy gets tight but my tummy gets tight when he moves sometimes too.

That could still be BH! Sometimes the contractions make them move, I have noticed.

i didnt feel pain with any of my bh. just tightening most of the time. when i had to go to the er once they were like oh youre having a contraction and i didnt feel anything lol. i also went through like 9 of 12 hours of labor not feeling one contraction until they gave me the pitocin then i really felt it lol

that's why I don't want pitocin @babychloe and @tahtahme really? lol then I've been having BH for a few weeks now!

yeah i asked them what it could be cause i thought she was just rolling around in there and they were like nope those are bh kinda the same feeling of tightening you get after sex.

ugh the pitocin was terrible it came on so quick it was like a shock and i had to get the epidural cause i couldnt take it anymore. after not having any pain at all to all of it at once.

I want to go natural no matter what. too many of my friends have had extreme extended pain after epidurals. I have back pain as it is I'm not trying to and more to it. @babychloe

yeah good luck. sometimes i still feel like sensitive where the epidural was. so i understand where youre coming from. it was amazing at the moment. couldnt even lift my legs lol. if i ever have another baby though i want to try it natural too.
