Am I strange for wanting to be private with my labor & right after?? I would rather go through labor with only my Baby's dad, and I don't want any pictures of my baby posted immediately after having him by anyone.. I just want to enjoy him by ourselves for a while before pictures of him start blowing up everyone's newsfeed like I'm sure they will haha. I dunno..

No not strange at all. Your delivery room should only contain who you want it to, it doesn't have to be a circus. It's an emotional time and considered private to some. I don't intend on having anyone except my husband and necessary hospital staff.

that's your choice I mean it's natural see all my family live out of state so they will be waiting on the first pics of baby but my mom will be here and my kids so those are the important people and once I feel I wanna share him with the world I will

I don't think so at all. I am doing the same thing. Only my husband in the delivery room & then one we move back I want some time alone because I want to hold her & be her momma before she gets passed around the room.

Not strange in the slightest. Only my husband will be allowed for delivery and no visitors in recovery until I've had a nap, a shower and breast fed. Even then only my parents will be permitted at the hospital at that point. Everybody else can wait until we settle in at home.

Oh and there's a strict no cameras in the hospital rule. My baby, my pictures, my rules. Don't like it? Get tah steppin.

not strange. I'm the same. it's gonna be me and my hubby and we will take our own pics but we aren't even gonna tell anyone to come to the hospital. I don't want anyone bothering me for like a week. hubby's mom and my dad and my sisters is like the most.
