Has anyone had the harmony tests and how accurate was it? Is it true it can reveal gender early?

I did the panorama blood test which is another one. tells gender and screens for the 20 plus major chromosomal abnormalities. I was able to find out by 11 weeks and was completely accurate

Oh it was accurate about your gender? And did your insurance cover it or was it out of pocket? @dohmommy2016

I had blood test for chromosomal abnormalities as well since I'm an older mom.. found out gender with it at 12 weeks.. it is 100% accurate since it looks at the babies DNA.. my insurance paid for it cause it's considered necessary for advanced maternal age.. @stellaarzola

No insurance didn't cover since it's elective. If I was over 35 they might of. I talked to lady at there company and they did test for 100 instead of the normal price thst is crazy high. definitely was worth it for us since I have health problems. was nice knowing gender early too. got to announce pregnancy and gender at once it was so exciting (:

I got the Harmony done with my last two and gender, both correct. My insurance covered it, I'm 19. @stellaarzola

My insurance covered mine also and it's 100% accurate for gender.

Where can I get the harmony test at and how exactly does it work is it blood test and I'm almost 8 weeks I'll probably wait till 11 weeks

@mommyslittleblessing, I believe it looks at the chromosomes. if baby has XX it's a girl, XY is a boy

i had it done but not 4 the gender test i didnt even know they did it that way but i had 2 do the test for the babies abnormalaties 2 c if they have any

You have to be between 11-13 weeks, we have TriCare, military insurance. Not all insurances will cover that kind of testing, so you need to call and make sure. Everyone is different as well, so you could have the same insurance as another person and they not cover it for you and will for them (IVF, over 35, history of it) @stellaarzola
