Parent achievement:
a few days ago we started Lilya on nightly sleep routine. Last night was a big success. We have her a nice warm lavender bath (she loves baths, doesn't even cry), soft lotion massage, head massage while drying her hair, topping it off with a warm bottle, followed by some cuddling and rocking until she was in dreamland. We placed her in her crib this time, rather then the bassinet playpen . She slept! 1030p-330a, woke up for a bottle, slept again 4a-730a and now we are watching TV and have breakfast.
What does this mean? My baby slept! Mommy finally got to sleep in bed, not the couch. Mommy got more than just an hr or two here and there. Mommy and daddy get their room back, the crib wasnt a waste of money after all and We are two happy girls.
