anyone know of other ways to help with acid reflux? i have a prescription for pepcid and also for my nausea but neither help a whole lot. the nausea med just makes me tired and i just threw it up shortly after taking it. im just tired of feeling sick when im not.

Are you pregnant? Your profile says "planning". If it's hard to keep anything down, you could try eating crushed ice. But if you're able to hold some things down try vanilla ice cream for the acid.

im not. i have acid reflux due to stress and that makes me nauseous. i have issues holding anything more than water down without taking my meds but those dont help as much as i would hope @madi-girlsmama

And if you can cure that, you could try the ice cream for acid reflux.

they have me taking phenergan (sp?) but i have already thrown it back up and it just makes me wanna sleep. its doing me no good it feels like. @madi-girlsmama

personal opinion here, if you are planning and there is any chance u may become pregnant.... I would not take Zofran. my dr won't even prescribe it. leads to birth defects.

thats why they didnt prescribe it. @babyjohnson0916
