I was an active member of the 🇺🇸army for three years. I came home in 2014 due to a medical injury that required therapy for a few months. In that time until now, life passed and I'm pregnant again of course. My original recruiter wants me to come in and go over my options of going back. Now at one point , I would do anything to go back because I missed the lifestyle but now I don't wanna go. I didn't tell him I was pregnant because it really wouldn't matter. They would just prepare for what I could do post baby. I know there are a lot of women that leave their families behind but am I wrong for not wanting to leave? If this pregnancy is successful, this will be our first baby after losing two. Idk, that's just time I won't get back that I don't know if I will be okay with losing...

No you aren't wrong. After so much heartbreak you deserve to enjoy motherhood. After a year just rethink and see if you want to go back to your old lifestyle again.

Not wrong at all! Being there for your baby and seeing all the milestones is something you can't get back if you miss it. They grow up so quickly. Your still an amazing person no matter what you decide to do. 😊

@atw2016, After a year I was so ready to start back working I just couldn't handle it. The first 2 weeks where hard missing my daughter but after those I realize it was the best choice for myself and my family.

@shan548 Yeah, I can see that happening. I will reconsider probably in a year or so. If I don't, I have a good job here, it's just I hate sitting at a desk all day. I may be in a different state than my SO and my baby so I won't have until 5 o'clock to be with them. I'll have to wait maybe weeks. 😕. But I'll think more about it.

@atw2016, Yeah see I'm a military wife and my parent was in the military so I know what your family would go through. My husband bets himself up for not being her when our daughter is born but he knows it's what's best but he will come a few weeks. It's hard but because I came to family he knows I will be okay.

@shan548 That's how I would feel missing out on our baby's firsts but at the same time, it would be building a secure future. I'll take your advice and give it a little time. It may get a little easier for me but right now, I just want to love my baby lol

@atw2016, it will take some time. My husband miss from 2 months old all the way to a year in a half with our first daughter so he just hoping and praying what he missed the first time he will get to experience this time.
