So this past Wednesday I went to the hospital because while i was at work (waitressing) I was having a decent amount of contractions. well my stomach was getting very tight on and off and it made me nervous ..being high risk they monitored me over night and gave me Procardia to help with the contractions. I had just turned 24 weeks. the point of viability. so now they have me on a bunch of medicine and strict pelvic/bed rest ....I have an appointment on Monday to see the high risk doctor and im hoping they make me feel better about this whole situation.

not yet.. since im just borderline at the moment with minor funneling they want to see what happens.. i have measurments weekly at this point... they say if they do a cerclage theres ill have to have one for every pregnancy after this (which im okay with!) but they want to try other things before.. pessary.. or bedrest.. or a mix of things.. just as long as the cervix doesnt funnel any more we might be okay.. ive been on moderate bedrest and.pelvic.rest since 8 weeks... ill know more on tuesday hopefully... we have 3 more weeks until viability..
