So I have a question...okay will my milk come in on the day my baby is born since I've been leaking since I was 4 weeks
@wrd2016, see with my first two I dont think they got anything or maybe I just thought...so I waited until I saw my milk finally came
&& the colostrum is really healthy :) it has all the necessary antibodies that the baby needs :) so it's not alot, but it's VERY good for them
no, I've been leaking that long too, but it's not your milk, it'll take up to 5 days for it too come in, but in my breastfeeding class they showed up the size of your newborns stomach and it only takes like 10 sucks to fill them up for maybe the first week of their lives :)
I breastfed my son he day he was born. They get colostrum first then the milk will come in. Either way the baby will get what it needs
it's just the colostrum. babies stomach is extremely small so about 7 drops of colostrum make them full.. they latch for practice and to get skin to skin @coraimasweet1204
well you start breastfeeding that day because the baby is getting the colostrum its what helps the baby grow that's where the best nutrients are. and that's when they learn how to latch on.
You'll get colostrum first your milk comes in 3-5 days after delivery. Baby eats colostrum first you can breastfeed directly after delivery
@gypsy.soul2, @beckahhkathleen well yea Ik but i see some moms breastfeeding on the day that they delivered
your milk comes in 3 to 6 days after your placenta detaches from the wall, that's what signals your milk.
