@twinscomingsoon, shrimp cocktail isn't raw, it's cooked then chilled.

@momagainjj82, I suppose I worded it wrong. Chilled seafood can accumulate bacteria like raw seafood. Which is why seafood is suggested to be avoided during pregnancy.

Seafood is fine while pregnant, just not certain fish that are high in Mercury like swordfish, but most seafood cooked right is fine. Shrimp cocktail has been one of my biggest cravings eating it right now lol

Happened to me. Had diarrhea/watery stool for like 3 days.. It was a siete mares caldo/seafood soup but it was cooked! So idk why.. But I have definitely been avoiding it ever since.

yeah mine wasn't that bad. I only had a bit of a watery stool but after I felt better. but am staying away. @mommytobejourney
