Waiting for the on call doctor to call me back.....had some light brown spotting and kinda concerned. ....just heard the heartbeat Tuesday. ....I hope this isn't a bad sign.....I've had a miscarriage before.....but it was more sudden and painful.....

I had spotting the last time I had a ultrasound sounds and it was a internal ultrasound did you have the internal one?

@annie2015, no just doppler and a external ultrasound she was searching for a bit but we did find it. ....

It's pretty normal that early on. As long as it isn't bright red and accompanied by cramping you should be fine. 😊

@skmamaof3, I've had some slight cramping. ....not like a period but some cramps but I thought it was gas cramps again.....

I'm talking severe cramps, a little cramping is normal. I had them until about week 17!

Ok,I'm not too concerned as I've read that bright red is the concern. @skmamaof3 thank you for the reassurance. ..I've been laying down since I've noticed it just to rest in case I pushed myself too hard at work or something
