at the doctors today, the doctor told us I am carrying the baby low and have placenta previa. I thought that only happened in the last trimester. Kind of freaked out because he kept asking if I had bleeding my reply is no and he said well there's some blood in this ultrasound above the placenta. and no more adult time with the SO till I'm 20 wks. :/ just having a small freak out

just breathe and pray it will all be ok. I am now 35 weeks and I have not had adult time since I was 7 weeks.

I had that at 18 weeks but they said it would move up and it did by 20 weeks they checked when I was pregnant with my daughter

this is my third baby, and I never had them tell me I was carrying low, I've told this new doctor that my uterus is tilted towards my back. its what I've been told in the past. maybe he just worded it differently?

I was in pelvic rest for 6 weeks also and my placenta moved up! All should be ok don't worry yourself

Placenta previa means your placenta is covering all or part of your cervix Hun, it has nothing to do with the alignment of your uterus

But most of the time it moves, mine did and my daughter was born a health 7+ lb baby at 40 weeks

I had placenta previa and was on bed rest and pelvic rest for 2 months. I had cramping and heavy bleeding. It was scary but by 20 weeks my placenta had moved and the bleeding stopped:) My dr said most placentas would move before the 3rd trimester.
