I understand some people mean well when they say things, but a friend of mine just told me that she is going to take time off when my son is born so she can come see us every day & help me.... She doesn't have any kids & she is like family, but my boyfriend and I have such big families that we are already SO overwhelmed with help that I think having people around literally just to "hog" my baby is getting on my nerves. None of my friends know what it's like to just want space alone with your baby (because they don't have children), so they think I'm coming off rude when I respectfully decline their help... I don't even like the idea of having my mom constantly around hogging him lol I really think I'll just want him to myself to soak in these precious times, especially during the first few weeks..

exactly why I will be privately nursing my baby to get the hell away from ppl lol. when I had my first my one friend got so offended when I told her I needed a break from visitors she told me I had post partum and needed medicine..we are no longer friends lol

@jamielynn07, Oy vey! I feel like I'm going to be offending so many people. She thinks she is going to be at the hospital while I'm in labor and everything.... not happening. I'm also going to do the same thing! Private nursing is not just great for baby, but great for getting visitors to leave 😂 luckily my nurses already told me that I just need to say a code word & they will come in saying it's time for me to feed him! Haha! It's amazing how ridiculous & inconsiderate people can be when it comes to your own baby and birth experience!

I agree with you completely! everyone recovers differently and I personally just wanted to do everything myself haha. I mean you carry a baby for 9 months I'm not about to just hand him over. It really comforted me to be mama bear. and then ppl would dirty my dishes and mess up my house like um who's gona clean that up? ugh I could go on and on haha. I work with people at my job so the last thing I want to do is socialize on my days off lol

@jamielynn07, Ditto, girlfriend! People really sometimes try to overstep their boundaries in this circumstance.. and I am sure most of them mean well, but STILL! Lol

I'm going to post some cute poem on my Facebook a week before birth to remind people.. it will basically say in just had a baby so don't invite yourself over..but it will rhyme and sound cute lmao
