Work. And some just can't produce milk :)

@cmcdon203 My boobs didn't grow! 😂 Don't worry! They actually got a bit smaller too because I lost weight :) My milk came in on the 2nd/3rd day. You need to make sure she sucks on your boobs regularly to take the colostrum and then the real milk will come in :) My midwife said to feed 20-30mins :) PM me and I will explain more about the milk if you are interested? xxx

@winterbaby95, @cmcdon203 @babyboots @mich77 thank you guys for your responses. Now it's a bit clearer to me. I just had an awful experience of bottle feeding my first baby from day 10 to 2 months because I had terrible pain in my nipples and multiple lactostasis (es). But I finally got back to breastfeeding and I couldn't stop being glad about it... It was so much easier for me, I could easily sleep, I bonded with my child finally and he started to feel better (he had troubles with his digestive system because of formula). But when I had troubles I heard a lot of "it's just food and he'll be fine" or "he needs a happy mom". I think that the second one is correct: if a mother is genuinely happy with her choice - then she can share her happiness with the baby and it's the best thing a baby can get.

I have bottle fed all of my girls and plan on doing the same for this child. my reasons being that it's easier for me. I can monitor what they are eating. they seem to go longer between feeds. my Oh can join in as can my other children. I've got this thing about my boobs, I hate them being touched. I tried to breast feed with my first and didn't enjoy it. I felt under constant pressure, she woke up constantly for feeds and for me I felt like my whole time was about trying to 'get it right' and under pressure and stress instead of enjoying my little one. each to their own really. I guess there are no right or wrong ways. I mean bottle feeding for me certainly wasn't wrong. in fact i loveit. I have 3 healthy girls. only down side for me is the cost. Haha @thriller.queen

im mix feeding my baby girl bottle during day and breastfeeding at night decided this way round as more milk produces at night.. every mother is different this is my third baby and my other two was totaly fine from mix feeding and good weights ect @thriller.queen

I'm going to try but my mums milk didn't come in Til a week later with all of us and I have no sign of milk what so ever boobs don't hurt not bigger their actually smaller so not sure if il follow her and milk won't come in Til later so I want to b prepared xx

@thriller.queen Also a lot of women are told it hurts and that puts them off it. Honestly with correct latching it doesn't hurt at all :) Xx

@thriller.queen Another reason is that some people are shy abour doing it in public...there's still people that are against women breast feeding in public...I know some people that have family that are against it...like they find it disgusting etc...women also have those pressures....Xxx

@thriller.queen Some people are worried about breast feeding ruining their boobs...not sure why :) each to their own I guess :) I had formula in mind just incase there was something wrong with my milk supply or if the baby couldn't latch :) She didn't have a problem with latching and my supply is great! I use a bottle in the evening to give my boobs a rest...my little one has a tongue tie so it has made my nipples a bit sore. It is expressed milk in a bottle X x x

@sophiegreen, just in case is one reason but I just want to know why it isn't for some people ☺️

I bought bottles and some formula incase I couldn't breastfeed, my son doesn't latch but I use the bottles and express my milk, people have their own reasons, breastfeeding isn't for some people x
