Do you think being able to breastfeed successfully (how much milk you produce) has anything to do with your age? Or what number child you're pregnant with? (first having less milk, second or more having more milk)
I was nowhere near successful breastfeeding my first two. I didn't make anywhere enough for either of them... I had them when I was 19 and 21. Now I'll be almost 24 when I have my third and hoping to breastfeed for as long as I can

No nothing to do with age . I've had my kids 10 months apart and I hardly make any milk my sister was like that too... I maybe would get 4 Ounces out of both

No, I was 25 with my first and didn't have success, I was 27 with my second and was more successful. I have friends who where very young produce like cows and older friends produce well... I really just thinks it's the person

I used to give my milk away to the nicu because I got 8oz out of both every w hrs and wasn't using anywhere near that. I also produce when I'm not pregnant or breast feeding it's weird I know. but my moms same way. maybe it's genetics but I think depends on the person. but maybe try to pump between feedings and it may help you produce more. kinda supply n demand....

I actually am curious about this. I was against breastfeeding this child because I had so much trouble with my daughter, I just didn't produce enough for her demand. now I want to breastfeed my son exclusively
