How many ultra sounds can you get? I'm 19 weeks an 3 days when I seen my midwife she said I'm all done with ultra sounds I thought you got some at the end of your pregnancy?

Only some do, it depends on your insurance. The last one I had was when I was 20wks

In a normal low risk pregnancy you get 2 or so one around 8-10 weeks one around 20 weeks and that's all. If they need one later on they may but they don't usually do it routinely.

It's pretty standard to just get a dating scan (in the beginning) and the anatomy between 18-20 weeks and that's it for the pregnancy. That's what my OB said. I just went to a private place and paid for more.

Awe. Yeah that's what my mid wife told me but u see my friends getting them at 35 weeks. So I was just confused. Yeah my midwife told me I would have to pay to get more and go to Boston for it I guess. I just wanted to see if anyone else got more or not. If it's normal to only get one at 18 weeks n no more after

I've seen a few people get them later too. Some ladies who are high risk get one at every appt and some who end up developing issues like GD get them to check the size of the baby.
