I had it, only had one course of antibiotics through my labour due to it only being 3 hours long, my son was born at 38 weeks weighing 7'4 and as healthy as can be👣xxx

Me too, they put me on antibiotics after I had my baby and told me that I have to mention that in future pregnancies.

Do you have to stay in hospital for a few days even if the baby doesn't test positive just to make sure that the baby is defiantly OK? X

I didn't have to stay in, I only stayed in for breastfeeding support @babylee2016x xxxx

My case was different , I had waters infection and my baby was on antibiotics too so we stayed 5 days @babylee2016x

Ah I see. Thanks for the info. My midwife told me I would have to stay in for 24-48 hours just to make sure everything was okay with baby, just to monitor him. Might be different in certain areas x

Yeah sometimes I know they do keep them in observations, must just depend on the labour and the baby, but I had a lovely water birth even though I was told it would be tricky with the antibiotics xxx
