I honestly don't know what to do about my sons fever. 2 days ago his doctor said it was a viral infection and give tylenol , yesterday I took him to the emergency room and they found a ear infection and said give Tylenol but tonight his rectal is 105.7 and his arm is 102. I just gave him Tylenol a little before 9 ! Why is it not going down? I'm freaking out. He's 11 months .

Go to the ER. Fevers start causing brain damage at 107, something is not right if he's taking Tylenol & still has a fever.

did they give him an antibiotic for the ear infection? it takes 24-48 hrs on antibiotics for the fever to go away. you have to keep giving tylonel until then. but I agree that's way to high!! And was just told this bc eddison just got another ear infection
