so today I had a client come in for a "perm" I was confused because she has curly hair so what she meant was relaxer I'd like go to do the step test I have her take her Pony tail out I start feeling around and I come across the middle inside of her pony tail and I find very large just dreadded matted hair which could not have happened over night she just wasn't taking care of her curly hair at all so in return she could not have a relaxer done because I had to shampoo hair conditioner and then had to comb and pick out all the dreads which took me an hour to do I finally got through it and gave her another shampoo and chem shot ( deep conditioning) after I applied product blow dried straight i did steam infusion and cut about a good inch or so off when she came in as you can see her hair was bad looked unhealthy and needed care after I was done she couldn't stop touching it and was so happy as was I and my teacher she had me do her eye brows and lip wax and manicure as well she was in my chair 10am till 2pm longest challenging day but I like a good challenge ( camera didn't pick up that good of a picture of the dreads but they were there and they were huge) proud of myself today love the cut I did I think it's the best I've done sense coming back from maternity leave could stop looking haha
