I'd heat it...they are used to warm milk/formula and even being thawed, it's still too cold even for me!

@frozenessence, my daughter drinks room temper formula and eats room temp baby food (the kind in the jars) but yeah, I think I will heat it up for her. What if it's fruit though?

exactly...room temp is considered warm...not hot...even fruit can be heated. if you buy the fruit in the containers it says you can heat it up too :)
