does anyone know if labor experienced during a miscarriage "counts" towards labor in later pregnancies? I had a late miscarriage at 18 weeks pregnant and went into full on labor. My water broke, had contractions and pushed him out just like I was full term. My body basically already knows what to do so despite the fact that this will be my first living child, I technically shouldn't be considered a ftm when it comes to birth right? In other words, my labor could go quicker than a ftm would and may even start sooner..if I am right, I need to get my ass in gear lol any thoughts ladies? do you think it "counts" as far as labor goes?

Every baby counts ❤️ but even this is your second delivery--don't expect to go super early. It's still very possible to go to 40+ weeks. Each pregnancy is different.

You're definitely not a first time mom. Your body knows exactly what to do regardless how many babies you've had! Best wishes !

that is very true! its just that im 35 & 1/2 so even if he only comes a week or two early that's still only a couple of weeks away lol god help me

I think I counts but you shouldn't expect it to be quicker. The baby will be bigger and your labor may take longer because baby stayed in longer. I have seen this with my friend.

oh ok so it's possible that I could go into labor sooner but it will still last longer..I am ok with that lol as long as I don't go to 42 weeks ill be happy..I really don't want to be induced
