My parents did this to me with my first born when I lived with them. They tried raising him like he was theirs and then would complain to the family that they do everything for him. They did the nice stuff like giving him sweets and then would tell him to stay with me in my room when he was hyper. I moved out and everything changed.
@bryndon.or.skylar0724, that is one reason letting kids stay with there grandparents is a big no-no because they give them what ever and spoil them and make the parent the bad guy..I learned the hard way...I also have two step sons that stay with grandma more than with their mom because they can get there way and get what ever they want..
she only stayed on the weekends because me and the hubby were both at work. but it's not going to happen anymore. I'm going to be setting some strict rules because of the new baby coming.

ive had this happen with my mother in law...Ive had to put my foot down a few times.. now when my daughter doesn't get her way, she cries for granny.
