I didn't have a baby shower with my other two...my mom failed at being a planner. congratulations on your baby I hope you don't have to carry for 42 weeks..just remember to self induce labor ..sex,walking,dancing(squats) and I've heard pineapple but I'm not a fan..it also helps if they sweep the membranes..

primrose oil can help as well

yeah I walk a lot and we try to have sex more often..if I get to my due date I'll let them sweep my membranes, but nothing else. they better not come within ten feet of me with pitocin lol

pitocin is something they give you to induce labor and from what other moms say, it makes contractions more painful and closer together..eff that! lol
