I'm 36 weeks and leaking colostrum like crazy! I feel like I'm wasting it by just letting it out on a breast pad. can I pump and save it?? I hate feeling like I'm wasting it

you aren't really leaking enough to waste time and try and collect it in the collecting breast pads and I'd wait till next week to try and pump! don't worry about wasting you'll produce more than enough when the baby comes

If you pump your baby won't get the colostrum it needs when it first starts. I don't think they'll let you bring in milk at the hospital.

breast milk lasts in the fridge for 5 days, a freezer for 6 months, and a deep freezer for 1 year.. 👍@aliciaresendezz

You should freeze it since you aren't due for about one more month.
