im not gonna lie to you its really uncomfortable they shove their fingers in your vag intill they reach your cervix they feel them and if your dilating they stick their finger in the hole of your cervixs to determine how dilated you are, i hate it!

and if your in early labor they clamp you open like a pat smear and swab you with these swabs to test you for things like infections or the preterm labor test as well as swab your butt lol but the best thing is to stay calm because if you freak out its worse

I was just checked at my doctors office and I was like damn doc you go up there farther than my fiancé does loll (I didn't say that but I thought it) it is uncomfortable but that's the only way to check.....
