The only thing I'm worrying about during labor and delivery is tearing. Other than that, I'm excited…

I'm so worried I'm gonna tear or that they'll have to cut me 😭 I really don't want either to happen. I've been trying to do kegels too but idk I'd I'm actually doing them right

My doctor cut me so I didn't tear. But honestly you don't even feel it or when they stitch you up. Only the healing sucks 😩

@arijane316, @stephhhx3 I have it in my birth plan to not get cut because I'd rather have it happen naturally, but I am soooo worried about the recovery! I also have it in my birth plan that no one can tell me if I tore until after I'm stitched up if I do😂

@jessica415, nothing wrong with that! I knew when he was stitching me but I was too busy holding my son it didn't bug me

My birth plan I asked not to be cut. I was ignored and she cut me anyways...I had 4th degree tearing after she made that little cut. However, she did an amazing stitch up and the healing was not even that bad! It is definitely nothing to be terrified of. it's natural to tear and everything is back to normal down there and possibly even better than before lol

yeah I started tearing so they cut me. I'd rather get cut then tear though.

you can tell them no cutting and they can't cut. it would be against your wishes. they can get into trouble for cutting you without your consent. that's why I go with midwives they won't cut. it's against their policy.

Lol I have a friend that tore. she had 6 stitches and had to sit on a donut for the healing process. she said it was painful. I went to see her and when she sat down (on the donut) she did so slowly and said "owowowow" until she was sitting and had a very pained look on her face. but healing is different for everyond.

my doctor told me not to push while crowning and that my body would do it without a lot of force from me and that allows the tissue to stretch slowly
