You can use corn starch and shea butter. I wouldn't use the wipes at all for now. Just a warm wash cloth and soap. And yes teething can caus him to run off. So try to steer clear of certain fruits and veggies and juices as well.

My son got a couple of cuts on his but too when he was teething and got diarrhea all you can really do is keep applying Destine and change him at least hourly to keep the cuts from getting more infected good luck!!

When I used Destin it also seemed to make the rash worse, is that what it's doing for you?

I would investigate his wipes. Some are under investigation for pieces of hard plastic/glass looking chips in them.

@caydensmommy, no I think it's the wipes and him constantly having diarrhea. it seemed to help till I wiped him this morning. and it started bleeding.@rintahtah, it's pampers sensitive.. I should check but I thought those were huggies?

Depending how old your son is... Try giving him a sippy cup of water or even watered down Pedialyte that will help clear out his insides help get whatever is giving it to him out faster

Yea it's the constant using of wipes not the wipes themselves. I wouldn't use the desitin even if you don't have the shea butter the corn starch will help a lot. And as far as the diarrhea since it's coming from him teething it's really nothing you can do to 'stop' it persae but you just don't want to add to it with what he eats and drinks. You can put him on this 'diet' I forget what it's called but it's like where he would only eat Rice Bananas and something else...... It's almost like he only eats starches.

@julieannnie, awww😊 I give him a sippy but never had a chance for the other. I bought some aquafor cream to see if that'll help. he'll be 1 on the 17th😭
