has anyone given their baby cereal and they slept longer at night?

I gave my baby rice cereal ans it didn't do a thing so I stopped. Nutritionally there's no reason to give rice cereal to a baby. It didn't even work for my son

@chhaya, and i feel thats how my son is going to b.i already give him thickener and he sleeps an hour or 2 more before he wakes up to feed.i just want to do it to prove my family wrong.

my daughter sleeps at least 6 hours which is two hours more then her normal 4.

What age did y'all start with rice cereal

@kenzie15, my baby is 4 months and im trying tonight.but we tried baby food last week.

@kdcmommy26 Aww, mine is 2 months this week. People keep suggesting I try it but I think I'll wait a little longer.

@kenzie15, his great grandma wanted me to give it to him before he turned 6 wks..oh no!

it's a choking hazard....I wouldn't do n it....it won't do anything and it has no nutritional value.

@kdcmommy26 Definite no. I'll just lose sleep. I don't think my baby will do too good with cereal right now.
