He will have to go to a recruiting office. They will help him with any questions and tell him exactly what all he needs.

Don't think we haven't tried :/ he wants to go marines but he not getting his questions answered so we are waiting from the army

Marines always seen to be a**holes but my husband is in the navy. Army is a little more helpful. What state is he trying to come from? It's harder to join with a family in any branch. Alot of people don't want to go through that long process so they end up basically turning people away. @deafmama16

@shan548, Tennessee and family shouldn't be a problem if we only have one child that is on the way. Marines are known to be assholes yes and they only turn people away when it comes to diploma and college degree

Did he talk to an actual Marine Corps recruiter?

Have him call around to more Marine Recruiters. My husband just got out in October. They're extremely picky on what they want. But he'll eventually get an answer to point him in the right direction. But I do know a high school diploma is the main requirement for them.

Army recruiters are way more helpful and they aren't strict on a lot of things so that's probably your best bet

Thanks @mazeyy09 @yadds your advice helped my husband and he will try again with the marine if not he will suck it up and join the army. Who knows if that where God is putting him instead the marines.

no problem something similar happened when my husband wanted to join the marines and he ended up in the air force so God will definitely guide you!
