Anyone had Cholestasis while pregnant? My GP put my swelling and blisters down to "being bitten" but…

I had it in pregnancy but never really had blisters (not sure if it would be that) but mine was mainly the itching and a few other symptoms x

I'm really itchy especially my legs and hands and around my nose, plus dark urine.. @duchess92 x

Yeah I had all those. I was so itchy that my skin would bleed. If use knives to itch and forks. It's such a awful thing and I had it really really bad. Hopefully they can give you tablets before you get to the stage I was at! I was left undiagnosed for 3 months and it triggered pre-eclampsia towards to the end of my pregnancy. The you'll probably get Urso Acid tablets and I also had Piriton just in case and as soon as I took the tablets the itching got so much better. But you need to be monitored so a day assessment unit in maternity might be best to go to. Speak to your midwife as GPs are shit and don't take it seriously xx

I'm just waiting on a call back from my midwife! It was the fact my face was swollen and I've broken out in blisters and itchy! I've itched my knees and shin so much the skin is ripping it's so sore! @duchess92 xx
