Sounds just like my situation. my husbands son was born vis c-section so he never saw a vaginal birth. also his mom couldn't be there...besides my husband is also very private. im almost 30 and married...i dont need my mama n the room with my legs spread and my ladys parts exposed...im a big girl. she didn't fully agree at all but had no choice. imma choose my hubbys feelings over hers any day. let her be upset...my mama got over it real quick. she was in the room when i gave birth 10 years ago and that was because i was 19 and my daughters dad was 18...we didn't know nothing. do whats best for u and the hubby....its about the 2 of you and the baby!

Yep she's all sorts of offended @izzysmommy1003 @cameronjamarsmommy2016 @family_first01 she texted me saying she wants to be there during labor since she didn't get to see my brother's kids be born. And I told her "I was talking with Troy and it sounds like he wanted to keep the birth fairly private, especially because he's going to be very anxious since he's never done this before. It also wouldn't be fair to have one mom there and not the other (I definitely don't want his mom there, I really don't want to be on display). So I'm trying to decide what I want to do. I definitely want you there as soon as he's out so you can see and hold him. I'm just trying to take Troy's feelings into consideration because it's a special time for him too. I just really don't want you mad or upset with me in case we decide to have it just be the two of us during active labor". She never replied and I talked to my dad and she's all upset with me.. which I find to be ridiculous

that's how mines is going to be and how it was for my first pregnancy. it's completely up to you and she shouldn't be upset

We told my mom the same...she was sleeping in our delivery suite while I labored and when it was time to push we made her leave and she waited outside the door till he was born...

But that's completely your decision. I waned it to just be me and my boyfriend but thank god I asked my aunt to go cause my boyfriend was no help at all
