38 weeks an 4 days with my first...it's a boy...had a Dr's appointment on Tuesday. (yesterday now)...and my OB said I haven't dilated yet. :( for some reason that really got me down...all day since she told me that. She did say tho, that my cervix was thinning a little...but I jus feel like my son is never gonna get here. I mean, I know he will, but maybe I'm just really anxious. that, and I've read everywhere that a lot of women have their baby at 38 weeks and I'm just so ready to meet him that it made me sad when my OB told me I wasn't dilated at all. 😢💔

You're not alone mommy I'm 37 weeks and I got checked last week Friday and doc said I wasn't dilated yet . I got down because I thought I was 😣

I had both my girls at 39 weeks so just give it time :)

I wasn't dilating until I was 40 weeks! & had him exactly at 41 weeks, he came on his own though so I wasn't induced!

I asked my OB if I could be induced so I could have somewhat of a planned birth...but she said SURE! at 41 weeks we can induce u! I was like........uhg....totally not what I was meaning by that. lol but she told me she wants to see if I can go into labor on my own since it's my first baby... :/

I guess I'll just start to walk more and do squats 👍 because I can't wait that long 😩

that's okay honey I'm 39 weeks and I haven't dilated and my cervix hasn't thinned out at all. I feel the same way :/
