What I was told is they are too little to do any major pushing or adjusting so they have to use the little tool and hot just the right spot. We went every other week and I could really tell a difference when it got close to time to go back in. Its definitely worth a try. good luck!
I took my oldest daughter for reflux when she was 4 months to almost a year. They hold baby in a sitting position and have a little tool that very gently taps baby's back and it helps to line things up. The tap feels like a light thump to me and my daughter never cried during or seemed uncomfortable at all. She always seemed so much better afterwards.
I thought about taking my son in for it because he has such bad reflux, meds aren't even helping him. He has an appt with a GI specialist next week so maybe he'll be able to help
@thehowtohippie, What did the chiropractor do? I'm sure that what they do to an adult and what they do to an infant differs greatly but I've never been to the chiropractor so I don't know how it works.
I took my son in at two months (just at my appointment) because my chiropractor is amazing and when I was pregnant she said to bring him in to make sure he was aligned.
@thehowtohippie good to know!
