You really need to take them as directed. For some medicines... the body can only absorb so much at once. For antibiotics; they only fight off the infection if you have high enough levels (it titrates up over the course of treatment).

If you really really can't stand them: Garlic (up there!), probiotics, and lots of cranberry juice are natural ways to fight off a UTI.

It doesn't say how many hours apart to take them, just twice a day with food.

Take them whenever you're most comfortable. I hated how the UTI pills made me feel😩

As a last thought; be careful! My UTI at 6 weeks sent me to the ER due to cramping.

call your doctor and tell him about side effects you're having, he'll decide if you can take it 1/day or change them for different one

I was about to say you need to take them as prescribed. That's an infection. It can get really bad.

It made me sick and I hated taking them but my husband wouldn't let me go an hour without taking it when I was suppose to. You don't need any infections while pregnant. That's what my doc said.
