I was on the pills compliantly when I got pregnant. After my pregnancy I was going to get the arm implant but since breast cancer runs in my family I couldn't so I decided to get the Mirena and the only con is I've been bleeding since January 3rd ! Hoping it stops soon but other than that I think it's the best choice I've made in birth control !

I got pregnant while on the pill.

although I took it from the time I was 13-16, sexually active during 2 of those years & never got pregnant.

this last time it got me though 😂

I have the paragaurd which is like the mirena but has no hormones and lasts for 10 yrs

IUD/ Mirena I just got it last week but it's 99% effective and I'm doctor says it works as soon as you get it inserted. It lasts for 5 yrs and you can have it removed any time before then if you want.

I have the arm implant worked for me had it for two years now
