is it weird that my sister in law wants to (middle name) her baby after her husband's brother (my husband) ? her first born is a jr, and the second boys middle name will be his brothers name.

I don't find that strange. your father's sister. but this is her husband's brother.
My middle name is my father's sister middle name. I do not find it weird at all. It's how people keep their family linked. it's not like it an ex's child or even a friend.

It's the samething my mother gave me my father's sister name. just a switch of genders. It will give your husband and his nephew something to bond over. Nothing weird about it.
