I find it so annoying when other people, especially family try to force their lifestyle on to my children. My husband and I are raising our children differently(religiously) then my family who aren't religious at all, which I respect that but they should also respect us and our beliefs. if I say no to my children doing something or being around someone then respect it even if you don't think its a big deal. My children will not miss out on anything, because I will show them that they can still have fun and enjoy themselves without having to do what everyone else is doing.

I'll have to deal with the religious aspect. I'll have to tell them I don't want her baptized and dragged to church. In my opinion she can decide when she's old enough to comprehend and decide if she wants to go. Good luck

@kandl, my children aren't baptized and won't be till they decide to be,because as a practicing Jehovah Witness, we teach them about God and Jesus and then let them decide. but my family has catholic beliefs. @jasminemaye I don't see anything wrong with it unless its going against your beliefs.

@jasminemaye, yea I get what your saying. in a way my mother believes I'm pushing it on my kids, because she didn't push anything on us, but its only because I believe that this is the best for them.
